HOW TO BAKE

HOW TO ASSEMBLE
1. Cut the rounded top off the rectangle cake. Flip the cake on its side and use a ruler to help you cut the cake diagonally
2. Place the two pieces of the rectangle cake next to each other on a chopping board
3. Cut out the paper template for the racing cars and place it on top of the cube cake. Using the template as a guide, cut out the racing cars

HOW TO DECORATE
1. Make icing according to the instructions on the packet
2. Use black food colouring to ice the 'road'. Cut out the white road markings from the edible paper and position them down the centre of the cake
3. Ice each of the racing cars in the colour of your choice then position them on the cake. Add large Oreos as the back wheels. Insert a toothpick into one side of a small Oreo then push the toothpick through the front of the racing car and insert the other end into a second small Oreo. Cut out the paper cut-out bumpers, attach them to toothpicks and insert into the back of the racing cars
4. Cut out the remaining edible paper images and position them on the racing cars
5. Cut out the paper cut-out flags, attach them to wooden toothpicks and skewers, and position them on the cake
